House fire takes two lives in Nibinamik

Two young lives were lost in a fatal house fire in Nibinamik Jan. 13.
A third youth – also under five years old – is currently being treated for injuries sustained in the fire, according to the Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service.
Police didn’t reveal the extent of the injuries and could not reveal the condition of the other occupants of the home.
The fire is currently under investigation by Nishnawbe-Aski Police with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police and the Ontario Fire Marshall.
