Drugs seized on plane headed to Fort Albany

Two Attawapiskat men face charges following a seizure of drugs from a plane heading to Fort Albany Jan. 16.
Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service officers were tipped off about the transport.
Marijuana, with a northern street value of $33,000, and about $900 in OxyCondone were seized, according to police.
A 29-year-old man was charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime.
A 20-year-old man was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of the proceeds of crime.
