Students of Victoria Linklater Memorial School in North Spirit Lake take field trip down the Flanagan River on Oct. 17 with local hunters Brandon Rae and Arnold Thompson to retrieve moose meat to share with the community. The next day, Elders Ida Rae and Irene Rae teaches the Grade 7 and 8 class how to clean and prepare the moose meat. The moose meat was shared with the community and stored for a student feast that will be held at the end of October.
