Moose Cree First Nation's 2011 Gathering of Our People takes place this week from July 19-22.
The four day festival aims to showcase and celebrate the Cree culture and people. "It is a time to get together with family, friends and neighbours to show unity, true spirit, and goodwill," the event website says.
Highlights this year include musical performances by Sierra Noble, Ceramony, Jason Chanakese and Robert Gladue. Also, former NHL star Theo Fleury will be a featured speaker.
