A First Nation teen hangout was the victim of an early morning robbery last week in Thunder Bay.
Officers were called to the New Hope Youth Centre Nov. 24 around 2:30 a.m. after the sound of breaking glass woke a neighbour.
According to police, the front window of the centre was damaged.
The accused attempted to flee the scene with items belonging to the centre, but everything was recovered at the scene, police said.
New Hope Youth Centre director Jake Weber said it is business as usual at the centre now. The window was repaired Nov. 30.
Weber said the centre is grateful the noise woke up the person who phoned the police and thanked them for the quick response.
A 28-year-old male was arrested in connection with the incident.
He was charged with break and enter and obstructing police.
