Join our Team:
Aroland First Nation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and coordinate all human resources functions for the organization.

Reporting to the Band Manager, the Human Resources Manager provides leadership in recruitment, employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, workplace health and safety, training and development, policy implementation, and organizational development.

The successful candidate will work closely with Chief and Council, Program Managers/Directors, employees, and community members to support a positive and productive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate day-to-day HR operations and maintain confidential employee records.
Provide HR guidance to Program Managers/Directors and employees.
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and orientation activities.
Coordinate job postings, candidate screening, reference checks, and hiring processes.
Administer employee recognition and service award programs.
Coordinate Career Fairs, Employment Expos, and Community Open House events.
Promote career opportunities and workforce development for community members.
Support attendance management, performance management, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations.
Coordinate employee evaluations, development plans, and training initiatives.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of progressive human resources experience.
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.

Conditions of Employment
Successful Criminal Record Check.
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
