Volunteers searching for missing Webequie teen Jordan Wabasse have found a shoe in Thunder Bay believed to belong to the youth.
The running shoe was found March 21 near the ship pier along the Kaministiqua River, according to the Thunder Bay Police.
It is the same area a baseball cap, similar to one Wabasse was wearing the night he disappeared, was also found last month.
Police said the shoe was found in part thanks to melting snow and ice along the riverbank.
Wabasse, 15, was last seen Feb. 7 and was reported missing by a guardian the next day.
Fifty to 100 volunteers have been conducting a ground search of the Westfort area of Thunder Bay since Wabasse went missing.
