The Nishnawbe Aski Development Fund awards were handed out Oct. 20 at the Valhalla Inn in Thunder Bay. The ceremony marked the 20th annual NADF Business Awards, growing from two awards – businessman and businesswoman of the year in 1991 – to a ceremony with eight awards and more than 400 guests in 2010.
