Walking past Lizabelle Trout’s modern Frenchman’s Head home and into her backyard is akin to stepping back in time. In a small intimate grove, shielded by pines and spruces, stands a tribute to tradition, to living off the land, to breathing in the outdoor air – it’s a canvas tent. A few feet to the right a small blaze licks the surface of a large silver pot. |
