Christian Chapman

Christian Chapman, an artist from Fort William First Nation has received multiple grants from the Ontario Arts Council to pursue various painting projects including a portrait series honouring Aboriginal artists and a series of narrative paintings reflecting on stories his family has told him. Chapman also incorporates photographs in his work using a silk-screen burning process. In this video Chapman sat down with Wawatay News inside his Thunder Bay studio to discuss his artwork.
