Domtar Inc., Dryden Operations, is currently seeking an individual to become part of our Maintenance Team while contributing to our ongoing success.
As an ideal candidate you have:
A valid Ontario Journeypersons certificate or Interprovincial “Red Seal” Truck & Coach Certificate.
A valid Ontario Journeypersons certificate or Interprovincial “Red Seal” Automotive Service Technician Certificate is an asset.
A positive work attitude and a keen sense of responsibility, particularly with respect to safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
Strong computer skills including experience with computerized maintenance tracking systems.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your responsibilities include:
Performing maintenance and inspections on a variety of vehicle and equipment types.
Diagnosing and repairing mobile vehicle air conditioning systems, electrical circuitry, hydraulic and hydrostatic systems, and fuel injection systems.
Diagnosing malfunctions and performing vehicle repairs (adjust/test steering, electrical, cooling, lubricating, braking systems, drive trains, suspensions, power steering units, clutches, transmissions and oil, temperature, gas regulating components, adjust/test/rebuild engines etc.)
The successful candidate must be willing to complete an Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship if they do not already possess this certification.
